Minute Ramblings...

I just love free verse cause you dont have to contend with meters, etc! You can give free reign to your thoughts and actually come up with something that can be considered literary. Here's my two-cents contribution to 'modern' literature. =)

Vulnerable I may seem to the world

Introvert is what I am thought of

Childlike I will always be

Charlatans I hate the most

Honesty is what I live by

Otiose admittedly I am at times

Unbroken is how I would like to stay

Judgment I do not deserve

Empathy I fervently request

Respect I have rightfully earned

Responsibilities I have fulfilled

Youthful mind I would preserve

Yielded I have my life to fate

Attached yet to the ground I am still

Naivete of existence I wish to observe

Kindred spirit I am to the world

Eloquence I speak beyond my time

Neither am I here nor there but everywhere

Chiseled I am by life's zephyrs and hurricanes

Halcyon and wisdom of life I still seek

Undaunted I am by the journey's mysterious terrains

Values golden in my heart I have kept

Anchored I am though raging storm swept

Nonpariel am I to a singular concept

Nubile body of mine tempt

Euphoric is my life's precept

Scintillate as I continue with my ascent

Serendipity of life I have learned to accept

Withstanding controversy is my success' ticket

Ultimate fulfillment I await at the end of the circuit
